Claudia Prüggler is the Managing Director of the Lakeside Labs GmbH since April 2008. She is in charge of legal issues, corporate development and new business development (strategic partnerships and licensing opportunities) as well as commercial issues and public affairs. Before that she worked eight years at Siemens Munich, Germany, in the field of Information and Communication Networks. She gained experiences in the sales department as an Account Manager Commercial for the region China and for the customer China Mobile and has also experiences as an Intellectual Property Rights Manager as well as profound knowledge in controlling and commercial issues of EC- and national funded projects. The basis for all this is a business economics degree at the University of Klagenfurt, Austria and the Master of Business Administration at the University of West Florida (USA).

Christian Bettstetter is the scientific director and founder of Lakeside
Labs. He obtained his master and doctorate degrees inelectrical
engineering and information technology from TU München, Germany. He has 13 years of experience in academic and industrial research. He worked as researcher at TU München(1998-2003), as guest researcher at the University of Notre Dame(1998), and as senior researcher at DoCoMo (2003-2005). Since 2005 hehas been professor at the University of Klagenfurt, being head of the Institute of Networked and Embedded Systems. His research is in the area of networking with a focus on mobile wireless communication systems, networkingtheory, and aspects of self-organization. He received best paper awards from the IEEE and the German ITG. His h-index, being a measure for the visibility of publications, is 25.
